To piggy-back off a previous article of yours about nuclear fusion power; I’m sure if humans are able to successfully develop nuclear fusion reactors, it would have huge implications with regards to what it would be possible to develop on other planets—on the ground or otherwise.

Edit: I’m imagining a floating city-ship with its own nuclear fusion reactor. Able to generate its own power to that could drive engines allowing it to remain stable, relocate, counteract winds/natural forces, assist in maintaining altitude, etc.—along with assisting solar grids in providing power for living-needs.
