Personal experience has led me to believe that the human-self possesses multiple “personalities,” all of which are related, yet also independent of each other.

Each one of these personalities has its own ability to feel, experience, and think—and they all differ from each other in their perspective of, and role in, the “collective-self.”

Of course, I’m not rolling out anything new. The mind-body-soul problem is something that humans have been trying to nail down since humanity’s inception; but as far as I know, no one has even located the proverbial hammer.

I don’t feel the need to approach the concept of the human-self existing as a “multi-being” as problem to be solved. All too often we halt our own progress with the compulsion to provide a “proof” for our thoughts and feelings—as though to say, if we cannot produce a deductive proof to validate the feelings and experiences we’re trying to express, then they must not be valid.

The mind-body-soul problem is not a problem; it is a description of our human experience. It is real because we can feel it, connect with it, and experience it.

When I’m connecting with myself; whether that means having a quiet moment alone, practicing introspection…
